This is my life verse right now. This is the verse God has given me to let go of my identity and rest in His. I don’t understand everything that it means, and might not ever fully understand, but THIS is what He is asking of me. My sin was crucified on the cross with HIM. I am now clothed in power by the Holy Spirit. I am a Child of the Resurrection. Christ LIVES in me! I shall live in FAITH in each moment knowing that God loves me so much and gave Himself up for me. This is a life of continually dying to myself–my life is not my own–and to take up my cross, losing my life to save it, and to live in faith in Jesus and everything that HE is and can do. He has overcome! It is time to live this abundant life that He has promised.
Galatians 2:20:
in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”(Galatians 2:20)
