I think we cannot experience God like we do when going through trials, hardship, suffering, persecution, and loss.
Not everything is punishment. I have learned that hardship can come for us to simply know Him more, to prayer more fervently, to draw near to Him, to become stronger, to see and experience His presence. Sometimes hardship comes because of others’ sin upon us. Either way, I have to move forward knowing God is with me.
I am thankful for Immanuel walking with me through all of my hardships. I pray I am always able to see Him in my days and to worship Him for all He is. This is the place of paradise that I love to be. In a continual place of worship.
I want to encourage you that God is with you too. And He is everything you imagined He would be…and more.
