A sweet mentor that the Lord has brought into my life gave me some verses on fear. They are so timely and so perfect for my life. One of my favorite verses she gave me is this one:
“For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” -Isiah 41:13
I love the picture of Him taking hold of my hand and telling me not to fear. It’s so loving and so intimate. He knows this life is scary for us. It reminds me of what He told me about Hannah walking…He gave me the verse about Him taking hold of Ephraim’s hand and teaching ‘her’ to walk…and showed me He’d do the same with my sweet daughter. Two weeks later, she was walking.
I really love the other ones too, so I will post them sometime on here too! As the Lord removes each fear from my life, He will replace it with TRUTH. And His word is truth and will sanctify us according to His Holiness.
I am so thankful for a beautiful answer to prayer to have a mentor. I am in awe of my sweet mentor. And so thankful for her guidance and discernment into my life. How important a mentor is to our walk of faith.
