What a sweet, sweet week this has been for me! As we transitioned into our usual routine, different time zone, and being around the kids without family present, we needed a CHANGE of scenery! We had the awesome blessing of serving at VBS this year and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the craft portion for the pre-schoolers. This was really exciting for me to learn new crafts and to learn new ways of teaching God’s Word to little ears. I am so very thankful. And Lewis and Hannah got to play with kids their age and stay inside from the hot, hot sun (it is around 102-104 every day this week). What a sweet blessing for all involved. Our family has a normal weekend together this weekend and then the next rotation starts up again. We are so thankful for this time to prepare. Tomorrow is our last day of VBS and I am excited at everything God has done in the hearts of the helpers and kids.
The Lord paired me up with someone truly amazing and VERY knowledgable about crafts and preschoolers! She is very organized and talented and could run the whole program, but God gave her to ME to help me! We have so many things in common and were able to share God’s promises about the things most dearest to both our hearts. We encouraged each other, prayed for each other, and loved each other and made a great craft team I think 😉 . I am looking forward to seeing God’s plans for the future and to learn more about Him and His Ways.
