What is your identity in? Your past? Accomplishments? Character? I have to remind myself of where my identity is often, lest I get off track.
My identity is in Christ, as a Christian, as a child of God. My identity is rooted and strengthened in God’s Word.
By God’s grace, I have all A’s again this semester, but I know that I know it is by His grace and that my identity DOES not rest in a grade.
This week is the advent week of HOPE. I have hope that God can do all things. And that He is good. And He loves me and is creating a good future for me. THAT is my HOPE.
My HOPE is in Him.
