A phrase said often…and really coined at my alma mater…is so easy to say, but so hard to do. Restraint, self-control, and selflessness are qualities that help us through moments of temptation. Ultimately, our self worth will be upheld and we’ll come forth with our concrete values intact and not compromised.
Come what may…even if we lose what seems to be so promising…obeying God is the greatest choice we can make….just do the next right thing…into the unknown.
The thrill is in obeying God, and seeing how He is faithful to guide and reward us for our trust and obedience.
